Support EF5's Mission

EF5 is dedicated to supporting families and communities affected by the fentanyl epidemic through education, advocacy, and compassionate outreach. Your donation strengthens programs that provide guidance, raise awareness, and build prevention initiatives across Oregon and beyond.

Every contribution helps us bring hope, healing, and understanding to those who have lost loved ones, while protecting others from the same pain. Together, we can build a stronger network of recovery, remembrance, and prevention—turning loss into purpose and awareness into action.

Every gift, no matter the size, makes a lasting difference.

Your gift to the Alex Bosh Book Fundraiser honors Alex's legacy and helps provide support to people living with loss. Each donation supports EF5's work using writing, movement, and other creative practices to honor grief and remember those we love. All who contribute will receive a copy of Transient.

Donations also fuel EF5's harm reduction distribution as well as workshops, community programs, and bereavement support groups that offer healing spaces to feel, create, and share. Thank you for helping keep Alex’s spirit close and supporting gentle, artful paths through grief.

"Alex spent much of his life 'out there' - on the margins, in the backcountry, in places where the systems most of us rely on fall away. He knew how thin the line is between comfort and survival, how quickly the familiar becomes strange.

The worlds he imagines in these stories are not as distant as they may seem. They are built from the same landscapes he walked, the same questions he carried: what endures, what collapses, and what it means to remain human when everything else falls away.

He saw clearly. Maybe more clearly than most.

Perhaps you see it, too.

So in the words of singer/songwriter Jesse Stewart: ride on, marauders; keep moving. Grab your dog, grab your backpack. He'll be waiting for you southside, of the main track."
